Highland Training was established in 2014 by Michael Murdoch who had multiple years within the service and security industries. The business was born from a desire to provide Inverness and the Highlands with a central point for all security, safety and first-aid vocational training. Highland Training prides ourselves on being recommended, being people-first and for pursuing continual learning, all concepts we impart through every stage of our numerous courses. Our business ethos isn’t just about representing ourselves well but about imparting the skills required to improve staff performance and business skill profiles across the Highalnds, allowing organisations in turn to provide the best service they can to clients, the public and their communities.
The majority of courses offered by Highland Training occur in Inverness, full details available on booking. We also provide a range of flexible training hours to facilitate learning around your present commitments.

Meet The Team
the man behind Highland Training. Michael Murdoch is the company founder and owner. Michael set-up the business back in 2014 on the back of a desire to provide Inverness and the Highlands with a central point for all things Security, Safety and First-aid. Michael, coming from a military background brings to the business his wealth of experience gained from years within the Military, Security and Medical service industries.
Ann Murdoch, wife of company owner Michael manages the back office function. Ann is also fully qualified First Aider and can often be found in attendance at customer assignments overseeing the First Aid services but is absolutely not shy in offering assistance to the team and getting involved when needed.
